The Train

This is what I thought about my recent train ride home.

 THE TRAIN 

 

Enjoyable

smooth, with ease

riders quietly doing

their time is there own

 

Moving about...... lingering

at the cafe cart

but me- I am in my

own little world

 

Eager to get home

to do what?

reading, writing or

just contemplating

 

 Ah, yet the ride

on the train

was enjoyable

so easy and smooth

I love riding the train, the light rail or the bus. Your time really is your own, unlike driving. I use it to people watch mostly, never that interested in where I am going, sometimes the ride is the best part of my trip.
