Perpetual Motion

a poem I wrote that I was spurned to write about my life.

 

Perpetual Motion

 

 

I am in a state

Of perpetual motion

going through the paces

of living..... loving..... denying

Basic emotions hidden away

Why....... why must I live this way

 

Can I go on this way?

Should I go on like this?

My brain is on fire

constantly burning

Like my love for you

 

Ah you, this obscure figure

I want to hold

longing to hold

to look into your eyes

letting you know..... I care

 

In time.... one day

will I, will we

have our moment in time

or will it vanish

like the breath on a cold day

 

I hide my tears, my sadness

this feeling is too great for me

yet I go on, persevering

in my state of perpetual motion

of living, loving, and yes- denying!
