Gods?

After watching a Mythvision Podcast episode on YouTube, I was compelled to write this poem, enjoy and check out his channel. He has some cool and interesting subjects that he brings to light!

God's

My God is not your God,
unless your God is my God
Is this a concept of the mind,
or a mind of the concept?

Life has gone on for ages
without a single concept
of a "God" in the cosmos
so where did it begin?

Was it all in our heads,
did someone implant an
image, feeling, just what
caused the belief of God?

If there is an all-powerful
entity in the sky, then
why doesn't he step in
 ending wars, suffering, or death?

People suffer, children cry
Yet no "God" coming to the rescue
Only deaf and dumb ears,
with many prayers unanswered

We could have been in paradise,
but man's greed for
money and power
gets in the way

Is there a true "God" of the universe
or is it mans way of dominating
the human species, or a
figment of our own minds?

God, Gods, or no God
life goes on, and
will go on, til
there is no one left!

I have my beliefs and feelings. I believe in God. In my belief God gave humans free will and that is many times why we get into trouble. Just my thoughts on the subject

Perhaps religions were established as an attempt to understand life. Perhaps "God" is life itself, the greater part of which is still unknown.
