Sky of Blue

You have one of those days when life gets you down, yet because the sky is blue you know that life will be alright.

Sky of Blue

Another blue sky

as dew on the ground

glistens from sunlight

life feels so good

Though life's rough

for many, no homes, food

yet we are alive to

tell our tragic stories

'Hope' is always there

for those in anguish

the downhearted can

pray and rise up

Look up to the sky

if it's blue, smile

and be happy

because you are alive
