Just thought I would try writing about what I see.

Watching

I sit watching

the world go by

each day

different

from the day

before

nothing lasting

for more than

a second

in time

people going

somewhere

where only

they know

while in other

places

people are dying

suffering

yet

here I sit

in the safety

of my home

hearing birds chirp

while watching

the

world go

bye
