Here I Am

This is how I feel after moving into my new home.

with my thoughts

running amuck

inside my head

what to do,

what to do

I get up each day

stretch, yawn, and go

padding into the kitchen

get a glass of water

to down my pills

such a bore, pills

four at a time

ah my life

here am I

alone again

peace abounds

I can do what

ever I want-

think, write

sleep and read
