Kidepo Valley

The vast,semi-arid plains of Uganda's remote north-east are home to one of the country's real treasures: Kidepo Valley National Park.indeed,part of the park's appeal is its remoteness-guranteeing that the visitor won't be fighting off minibuses in an attempt to see wildlife.

Kidepo offers some of the wildest and most magnificent senery to be found in East Africa,relatively unspoilt by development.

the valley is also inhabited by the pastrolist Karamajong people.
