Reindeer VisitA Poem by john l smithtoo muchReindeer Visit A Christmas reindeer Came into our house And sat in my easy chair Surprising me and my spouse It ate all our food And drank all our coffee And without permission Changed channels on TV Then in our bathroom It climbed into the tub And asked if I would mind Giving its’ back a real good rub Our spot in our bed Seemed to catch its fancy And it fell asleep there Without a single glancey Finally, other reindeers came And gave it alota flak And took it to the north pole And I hope it won’t come back © 2018 john l smithAuthor's Note
