           White Melody

                         

       As the snow falls soft

 The winter winds gently blow

    Flakes lightly bend round

  The snowman is surrounded                     

        In a melody of white

A clear image comes to mind reading your words. For me though snowfall is always associated with silence as over here in the UK we grind to a halt as soon as the white stuff falls.

Is that normal?
We have most often had a major dump by now (all have 4x4's) but so far have only abt. 3"of frost
and it has been quite cold.
We need snow on the mountains to keep our wells going all summer
