Dental DelightA Poem by john l smitha drillingThe Dentist Visit The nice lady
said, please have a seat Just swing
around and put up your feet Lay yourself
back on the headrest Our service will
be but the best Wear these
dark glasses, so you don’t chill At the size
of our tooth grinding drill Best you
grasp tight, each arm rest This procedure
could be quite a test Open wide now,
please let me look in My elbows just
need to, rest on your chin Then as she
looked down deep into my head Her blue eyes
turned to a frightening red Two fangs
appeared, so shocking the gleam The drilling was
muted by my wild screams Something
unfortunate took place in my jeans As I struggled
away from this dentists’ extremes A ghoul
grabbed me, they were a team The dentist
thing had been but a scheme Their slashing
fangs were the last I’d have seen Had I not
awoken from that bad drilling dream © 2018 john l smithAuthor's Note
