Scattered

Scattered

A Poem by jumbled-confetti

He crouched in the dark
corners of her mind,
lurking silently.

He
Scratched at her skull,
Burning her walls of sanity,
Unleashing her insanity.

Her
World orbited around him,
Like a dead moon around
The fertile Earth.

He smelt of soil,
Creator of showers,
God of thunders,
Her center of gravity.

She smelt of ashes.
A burnt disaster. i
He held her world in
Place.
