My Prairie Land

The view of the prairie lands makes me feel secure,
Cheerful, calm and peaceful.
I feel depressed when the white fluff coats the vivid green, golden   flat lands and glittering mountains, it is like the hills, mountains and the flat lands are all hibernating with the other animals in the forest.

When I oversee the vivid gold flat land through my window,
I thank GOD for this rich scenery.
Contemplating the crystal mountains, shining like red rubies.
Gazing at the small hills that look like green broccoli heads.

The scent of flowers blowing with the wind into my bedroom window, concerning me
That the white fluff has vanished.
The flowers are now popping out like wild daisies.

I miss touching the grass when running through it, passing the flowers with a comforting smile.
Wonder how it feels when embracing an untamed bird that sings so elegantly, and watering the trees and plants.

Wondering how it feels, when tasting the dew on the grass, sampling the fresh peaches that are dripping with sweet juice.
Take a bite into a juicy peach, and let the juice trickle down your mouth.

"Why do I love this piece of land?", you ask.
I tell you why, because I belong here!
I was born here!
If you haven't seen or heard about the prairie lands, just imagine it this way, an extensive, yet green piece of land, to run free and wild.

Now, that's a prairie land, and that's what's in my heart!!

I absolutely love your poem! You expressed yourself and described Prarie Land with vivid description! No, I have never heard of Prarie Land, but the picture that you painted in my mind made me feel like I was right there. Thank you for posting. Great writing!
