Back to back

You’ve got me thinking of words to write that I normally wouldn’t say. You know if every girls was like you I would still love you like no other. Someone should've warned you when my name came up, things don’t stop turning till they tumble down. 

No, don’t wish you never sought what you thought, what I could bring you... I’m on a ride don’t worry I’ll give you a fix riding it. Got me feeling down and stressed out. I know that can only mean one thing falling off the wave rolling into someone else’s bed. Late night when you return with your hair washed that can only mean one thing. I’m still stuck where I was last year but you need to know I’m on a wave, things got me smirking on some funny s**t. I can’t help but smile at how things change. So easily I don’t even need to keep track. 

Gone for a moment, never in one place for too long so I can’t get upset.

I know she  keeps giving me looks.  I know things are different from the last time I was here. 

Still writing thinking I’m a better man than I was before but every night I kept at it; back to back lit.

She said she don’t need a man when I’m looking for some to keep at night, even though when she says I’m the sweetest man, so let’s make an agreement and let’s be friends with a secret. I know she wants to…  I can’t stop giving looks in return. 

No need to doubt, I know things change ever so often they got it twisted. Gone for too long so you knew you could get it, but she know’s it’s never for too long so that’s why you come back my way. 

I got something I want to say we know it comes to an agreement even though it’s just temporary let’s keep it as secret friends. Everyone knows there isn't anything in particular that I'm chasing just living life with a vision.
