So instead you keep her in your peripheral and imagine what that haze of an image is... Only when she gets up you manage to stare and only when she’s looking down you manage to look up You stare at the lights like your interest is peaking, but don’t walk up and get the attention your seeking... Sitting in a cafe, dressed in your everyday weather beaten clothes Unprepared for the actions you wish you could make It's early but you've been in for too long... perpetual confinement I don’t want to see you as a stranger, Don’t be that somebody I used to know, We can make our dreams reality So can we forget what everyone is thinking and let go of our insecurities to stare into each other, Enjoy that one brief moment where no one, but us exist’s. I'm into your polka dotted dress, Vibing off the bounce of your steps, Hair flowing seamlessly in the air, I can't help but feel your ambience, I am digging your dimensions. It's about the little things with her.. She gives off an aroma when I think of her; of red wine. Whenever I see her, I can imagine the way she walks, With a presence as if making an entrance every time. The words to describe her are only words of romance, smooth to the tongue, easy on the lips, and soft to the ears. So why do you look down when I walk next to you? I gaze in you direction, you stare at me, but you don't notice me smile when I am passing you by.
