Delusions

A Poem by Juliette LaBelle
"

I wrote this for someone on a different site. Here's to you my ghoulish friend.

"

My mind paints a ghostly image.

Double vision,

Two sights overlapping.

One is real,

I'm sure it is.

I think it is...

Is it?

The other is horror,

Pain,

Death.

The bodies of the damned,

Swimming in my head.

I'm falling apart,

As the demons claw at my sanity.

This one is not real.

I know it's not.

I feel it's not.

I fear it is.

I lay, screaming.

Dying in my mind.

Until my angel wakes me to her light.

She pets my cheek,

"I promise it's alright."

And her love glues me back together.

I loved this poem. I like the sort of broken sentences, and how some verses contradict the previous ones.
I just think that you don't need that much punctuation. Considering it's a poem, there are natural pauses at the end of each verse, so you should just put a period or comma etc where it is really necessary, where it will really make an effect.
Great job.
Cheers and have a good day. :)
