She asked me why I was doing this.

She asked me if I had decided to do this for sure.

I saw her eyes not believing it.

But I was going to do this anyway.

I had to.

So I told her to come with me-no questions asked.

And she did.

But her face was puzzled.

She seemed to not understand.

My reasoning.

My will.

I could almost sense the tension build.

I wanted her to see what I had seen.

To understand what I did.

But when I tried to explain it, it just couldn’t come out of my lips.

What would I have said?

What would I have explained?

I had nothing with me yet so much in my mind.

But if I did explain.

If I did tell.

She wouldn’t have been able to live the way I wish I had.

So I held her hand,

And jumped
