Broken still beautiful

Broken still beautiful

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)
"

The pic was taken today by me on a long weekend away see the bird I speak of

"
The seagull perched
On stone throne there
The wind was high
The seas were rough

The others sat and perched
Awhile
'Twasnt till I saw her little
Leg
''Twas bent upwards
All the while
She was the beauty of the
Flock
The leader of the gang
As she flew off
The others watched
The rock soon bare
At sea cliff again

I watched them fly
Their gentle rhythm
Their food was on some bench
The one that had her leg
Bent high
Led all to supper then

Seagulls are mystical birds, being so close to the deep, humming, roaring oceans, in tune with the winds and waves. A lovely write with an awesome picture to go with it. It was like being there.
