Her Deep breaths
Getting lighter Quicker No snores coming now As she awakens To The bush sounds Australian bush Kookaburra and other Little birdies Loud birds Some quiet and constant chirp Some occasional so soft Then silence Her breathing back to normal breaths She lies and listens to The orchestral sounds of The Australian native birds In her little paradise Her backyard facing bush Now the dogs are barking The birds still make their dawn calls The cars In distant roads The radio on soft Her coffee maker on Her bathroom flush so soft Her sigh of thanks It's Saturday She puts her dog out It's time to face her favourite day In this her tracksuit bought last May And relax and while away the time on Her favourite day Saturday in her Outer suburb Backyard facing Aussie bush © 2017 Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)Reviews
