Cup of tea

Cup of tea

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)
"

Nonsense

"
Oh cup of tea
Oh cup of tea
You welcome me
In morning or midnight
Be you green, camomile or
Plain earl grey blend
So spiritually plain
You wont be my foe

I love your sweet essence
That savours my presence
You make me feel
On top of my world
And I mentally twirl
So in my teacup joy goes
And add occasional sugar
Or milk
But mainly drink you
Without the lot
Yes my tea hits the spot

mmmm i fancy a cup of tea now... Lovely imagery and for me the line "i love your sweet essence" really evoked the smell of camomile and vanilla tea (a favourite)
