Red rose I picked for theeA Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)Romantic Part one of Rose poems
Oh sweet rose
Red rose for you My love so sweet With your hair Dancing almost to your feet Red rose so wild so fitting So to speak Red rose it lays upon your bed Waiting for you to smell it there I picked that rose only seconds ago And in sun and shadows and mossy dew It did grow my love for you My one so true The morning dew lays still on its soft petals now So my sweet hurry pick it up ever so Quickly now I want you to smell it's scent so sweet As it lays down to your soft heartbeat Come to me now oh my Princess with name of sweet Rose now Let me show thee my love and honour now I'll love you to the day I die And when we die when so old and grey We will lay down as lovers true Just where the roses grew this day For me to give sweet red roses to only thee © 2017 Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)Reviews
