Un, Deux, Trois

Un, Deux, Trois

A Poem by Julia Ledo

If I sipped from your straw
Would it count as kissing you?
And if I wore your shirt
Could it count as an embrace?
Could I hold your hand and trace your veins
And count it as a win?
Would you let me stay the night in your bed
And count it as a sin?
Kiss me kindly
Treat me soft
Let me sip from your straw
Count me in or count you out, but
If I sipped from your straw and kissed your lips
Could it all count for something?

this is one of my favorites i have read in quite awhile...
love that idea...of both the straw and the shirt...anything to feel close to you...

in a quirky way, quite a romantic piece.
