My One Way Road To Hell

until there's nothing left

As the fire rapidly approaches

It's all I can do to stand there and wait

Wait for it to engulf me

For my skin to crack and peel

And the flesh to burn away from my bones

Until all there's left is ash

Disintegration

Complete nothingness

Because that's how I feel

All hope is gone

All hope is wrong

A lie

A fake

This world has taken all it can take

From me

Happiness

Family

Tore it from my arms

From my heart

And laughed in my face

As my life falls apart

So I think to myself

Why...

Try?

When everything I touch

Dies?

There's only so much I can take

There has to be a line

And I'm guessing now

There's not much time

Time to think about it all

Time to revel in my fall

Because the fire is on its way

Today is my last day.
