The gifts the Druids forgot,

Imagination or a load of rot?

Envisioning future along the track,

Miracles and prophet's dreams,

Heroes and inspiring queens,

Appearing in transit, sight unseen,

Imagination or a load of rot?

The gifts the Druids forgot.

Reminds me of olden TV themes... no, that isn't fair. Perhaps each of us has our own vision of what being Druidic in their particular time era involved - persecution, physical harm, loss of freedoms, indignities and death. Their religious beliefs and practices were not publicly nor privately allowed let alone tolerated.

The times were not "gentle".
