Fantasy's Fairytale

Fantasy's Fairytale

A Poem by Jukebox
"

One of the very first poems I wrote

"

Once upon a time

In a land far away

Elves liked to rhyme

In the meadow unicorns would play

Monsters would roam

Pegasus would fly

Trolls would live under domes

Fairies floated in the sky

The queen wore a pretty crown

The princess was pretty at sight

But the king wore a frown

And the prince would never fight

Mermaids would swim

Dwarfs had gems to look at in awe

The magic lights would suddenly dim

At the wishing well maids found water to draw

Knights on horses would ride

Wizards on days would cast a spell

Dragons were fought and haven’t died

Imposters locked up in their cell

This is Fantasy’s Fairytale which you already know

But this story is about to end

I must say now that I have to go

So ta ta, cheerio, goodbye

However you may put it I’m off so Good Night!
