The River

The River

A Poem by Jukebox

Shadows from the wind-blown trees

Looking down on the crystal clear river

The water is running over the small pebbles

You feel relieved of all your problems as you watch it flow

You look at all the nature and start asking yourself questions

How far does the river go?

Why are the trees surrounding it so tall?

How many pebbles are being washed?

A nice, simple contemplative piece. Well written.
