Stranger Than Fiction

Stranger Than Fiction

A Poem by Jukebox

As if my world were not tainted by truth

And truth was not stranger than fiction

The reality you live in is my fantasy

Where I can travel to England "

Walk down Abbey Road

Where the Apple isn’t poisoned

And the only thing filling the sky is stars

Where pictures are believable

And smiles are more than masks

Where I am unique

And my blood is mine alone

Where the earth is so large

Solace can be found around the corner

Where everything is as it seems

Everything is what it is

Simple

Ignorant

Blissful

If that were my world

Everything would be in vain

No meaning found in the complicity

No love found in His death

No sacrifice

No point

Nothing

That’s not my setting

Not my story

Not His Story

It’s already written

I’m preparing to run with the unicorns

And fly with the fairies

Because guess what,

They do exist.
