I'm Like A Bird... I Wanna Fly Away

I'm Like A Bird... I Wanna Fly Away

A Poem by Jules

Pretend that you don't see.  Ignore the absence of time all together and throw away your favorite attire. Stop the bustling of the busy streets and find vengeance in hate.

Pick apart the weeping daisy and believe in the truth among the hidden.  Walk alone down paths unseen and unkempt.  Thrash about beyond the existence to learn forgiveness in all the living.

Attempt to grasp the forbidden thoughts that float endlessly through your mind's eye.  Study the clarity of this truth beyond your own desired fictional life.

Forget the meaning of your selfish woes as you turn the key to your locked inner being.  Set free the soul of the bird who wishes to take that endless flight.  Grieve not for absence, but for the present to still exist without love.
