My heart is heavy feels like lead,

Wishing here that I was dead,

Feelings I have none for thee,  

My heart is asking was there a We.  

 

Why did u leave I hear me say,

Why did u go and leave this way,

Beating my brow I look around to see

A part of you that was part of me.

 

We were good friends you might now say,

To me you were my yesterdays.

Todays begun Im lost, alone,

 Tommorrows a dread I wish I’d not known

 

I turn in bed but youre not there,

I feel the pillows but not your hair

The smell of you still lingers near

The only thing is youre not here.

 

Should I move on or wait awhile,

To see if you would tread that mile

Back to me to mend this heart,

Maybe make that brand new start.
