Life.

Life.

A Poem by Juan Victor
"

I wrote this poem while listening to The Keeper by Chris Cornell. Now, I am not sure if the message of my poem parallels his, but I hope this poem either extends or breathes new meaning.

"
ACT I

Alone in the dark
a fire, a spark
gathers my fear, I feel it fleeting.

I shine once more
what I am for,
my soul, my being.

ACT II

On a ground unknown,
where my feet and hands are blown
by a  cold wind and an unfamiliar singing.

Hope and struggle collide
to find a place to reside
and they help me find the living.

EPILOGUE
As I stand amongst the fray,
I kneel and pray
that the Almighty one will let me stay.
