Writer's Block.

Writer's Block.

A Poem by Juan Victor
"

I had writer's block.

"
I'm immensely deprived of inspiration.
Even while I'm talking to her,
I feel drained and devoid of focus and attention.

Confused, perplexed and disabled.
Why should they accompany me while
I try to court my inspiration and invite her to settle.

Damned incoherent thoughts.
Clinging aspirations of a complete work.
How could I finish when there is no plot.

It is only fair to just end it.
Find a knife and cut the cord.
Take a break or find a guillotine and yell beheaded.
