A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

How many of us pay attention to what is happening around us?

"
Waiting.
Notice the drip from the water fountain.
The hum of the rail.

Time passes.
Smell from the taco shop.
Fresh bread from the store competes.

Still there.
Protesters out, bringing their kids.
Only 110.
Make them suffer while you express your belief.

Sign of sanity.
Man walking his lady to the stop.

Bonus if the timing is right.
Seeing the same couple reuniting later on.

Jon Roggie,
This was special because it reminds us of the life glimmers within the every day for us all.
The setting for this could be at a train station or near a park etc. To me though I could
imagine it being separate prisms taken from the day to day even special occasion within
the minutes of life. I like how you finished this one as well.

In the end people, friendships and love, even the memories of such are the honey
holding our lives together.
Blessings to you as winter will finish and spring come forth.

This is a funny and quirky poem. A mesh of things disjoint. What unites them is life.
really liked the poem!
