Oh, Little One

Oh, Little One

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Remember the first time I saw you.
So happy.
So full of life.

Visits were seldom.
While you grew taller, your joy of life stayed.

Now, you have a child.
Your love surrounds him.

Few chances I get to see the two of you,
when I do,
I stop.
I watch.
I revel inside.

'Oh, Little One'
Jon Roggie,
This is an admittance that a person can appreciate the reality of their situation just because. To enjoy what is instead of being bitter and negative is a beautiful thing. I understand wanting more contact with those we love but sometimes it just dosn't work out that way. so you simply enjoy.
"I watch.
I revel inside."
So encouraging.
Blessings,
Kathy
