Waves

Waves

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

Dealing with the day to day. And after typing this, yes, I am really hurting.

"
Waves are coming.
Feel them going up my back.
Feel them flowing around my knees.
Feel them in my hands.

Now, it's the high tide.
Feeling the sensations.
Feeling the flat out pain.

Soon, hopefully, the tide will recede.

Low tide is a bit better.
Waves still flow, just not at a higher level.

'Waves'

This reminds of how in life there are so many things dealt with in waves of different depths and intensities. I see by your author's note that pain is the issue here. You are very good with your expression of using the metaphor of ocean waves describing your experience. I wish you all the best in the present and in the future.
Bless you,
Kathy
