Silver Lining

Silver Lining

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

Sometimes you have to just grab whatever keeps you going.

"
Once in awhile,
when you finally get a chance...

Sorry.
  Just the momentary freedom...

Happened again.

Silver Lining,

Concentrating now.

Rambling?

Too many pauses?

I'm sorry again.

Everyone has their secret pleasures.
Mine is absolute silence.

No cars.
No planes.
No leafblowers.

And not that I want to stretch it out,
  nobody around me.

Why do I call it the "Silver Lining"?

It's better than hearing,
"Don't you ever feel lonely?'

"Silver Lining"
Jon Roggie,
"Once in a while
when you finally get a chance"
this sounds like the gift just laid before you!
"Sorry just the momentary freedom
happened again
Silver lining
Beautiful gift and the heart just jumps to feel it's presence.
Then you speak of rambling and saying sorry. I don't know...you are happy enough.
The gift is a simple one but so needful for the replenishing of inner peace and health. silence.... a place to rest.
"Everyone has their secret pleasure.
Mine is absolute silence.
no cars
no planes.
No leaf blowers.
Everyone processes life. We all need a certain amount of strengthening. Many find quiet and solitude to be just the ticket. Including me.
Bless you, and I really enjoyed this poem of yours.
