Reminders of life

Reminders of life

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Day starts, clock is blaring.
Cup of coffee?
Not today.

Both knees complaining.
Guess I'll wear a brace for one.

Walking to the rail.
Moving slow.
Feeling a bit of flexibility returning.

Crammed in a bus.
Muscles are cramping up again.

Back in the light.

Got to keep moving.
Can't sit.
Can't sit.

Does the pain vanish?

Always keep moving.

Oh, the reminders of life.

"Reminders of Life"
Jon Roggie,
Oh how we all must listen to our own personal wake up calls. You have a unique situation that requires all your attention it seems.
These bodies of ours can be very hight maintenance.
This poem was a really visual invitation to see through your words how a day in your life can pan out.
I sure appreciate your honest portrayal. Please continue to take good care of yourself.
Blessings,
Kathy
