Can't do it.

Can't do it.

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

For that time when you want to scribble off some meaningful lines...

"
Sit and try to come up with some new phrases,
Some kind of smart a*s comments.

Can't do it.

Now, I'm not so glib.

Easy to pass it off,
when you try to hide your pain.

Eventually, it always comes crashing in.

Jon Roggie,
"Can't do it" was a short story but full of meaning. You are telling the truth about how we people are tenuous and fragile at times. Pain is like that.
"When you try to hide your pain." This phrase is so true and is the tip of the ice burg of processing beneath the surface.
Time is needed and not always done with many words but with a place of inner solitude and thought.
I truly appreciated this poem as it told of our human condition.
Bless you,
Kathy
