You can still hold my hand

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Something I have always known,
 and have tried to share.

You can always hold my hand.

Touch of support,
  a response to a squeeze of despair.
Grasping a hand miles away.

Lost in isolation,
 reach for my hand,
  and remember the lines in my palm.

Now,
 go to sleep,
  while I watch,  
   and brush your brow.

Rest.

Tomorrow begins again.
  One where you no longer need my

Sometime's when you are going through tough times it's good to have people there to support you and to be your shoulder to cry on and it's okay to cry it's not just a girl thing when people cry it makes them stronger, but when they hold everything in then they become weaker.
