Walk with me

Walk with me

A Poem by Jon Roggie

It feels like a time.
Take a stroll,
and watch what you might never see.

Pause,
and see the raindrops on a hummingbird's wings.

The world is still there,
and you know it will never stop waiting.

So walk with me,
and see what we might see.

The simple things we remember.
"So walk with me,
and see what we might see."
I remember my grandparent took me everywhere. The lakes, the forest and so many activities. I try to do the same for my grandchildren. A wonderful poem shared Jon.

Where you live. So many things to do. I roamed your area in 1992-1994. You are welcome Jon.

This world, nature, is so wonderful yet we take little or no notice of it being too wrapped up in our own little "me, mine" bubbles. For this to change for me, it took a near death accident many moons ago, now I appreciate every waking hour and marvel at the smallest of things(I still whinge and whine at times like everybody else though!)
Good morning, hope you are well
