Watch it move

Watch it move

A Poem by Jon Roggie

It moves to the left,
and a touch to the right.
Up and down,
when it feels like a change of pace.

I can only witness,
and shake my head in dismay.
Somethings should know their place,
and I believe my kneecap should be one.

I understand a need for change,
and have shrugged it off before,
but for the rest of the body I must plead,
Won't you at least give the illusion of stability?

Kneecaps never pay attention. Ditto shoulder tendons.

I blame a collusion with time.
