Born in the cold.

Makes me sweet.

Maybe early January.

I admit it is depending on the climate.

Live through a freeze,

 and you have a choice.

Enjoy a warming sun,

 or dwell on the cold.

I could be bitter.

Not my line.

I was born in july, but round these here parts, that tells us nothing, other than it was probly raining.
Warmth makes me sweeter Jon, as well as calmer, more sociable and less grumpy...although never grump free.
You are correct, it is all about the climate.

I admit it. My polar bear build helps with the cold.
As far as the oranges, they are evergreens. Two trees waiting to be harvested.
