Taking a moment

Taking a moment

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Pause for a while.
Rest for the body and soul.
Each needs a break.
Body simply objects.
 Might as well growl.
This is all your fault.
Soul is constantly learning,
and brings tears to my eyes.
Body doesn't appreciate the division.
Time to stop.

Like being halfway somewher and realising you forgot something. Mind, soul and bones sigh at the indecision of whether to go back or go on. I do hope there was a bench nearby to rest and ponder a while Jon.

You take a breath, and ride along.
Like being halfway somewher and realising you forgot something. Mind, soul and bones sigh at the indecision of whether to go back or go on. I do hope there was a bench nearby to rest and ponder a while Jon.
