Left hand, Right hand

Left hand, Right hand

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Granted,
both have been losing some of the touch,
   but still,
      it is interesting.

One does better than the other.

It all depends on the task.

Musical inclination allows the left to take over.
  Right seems a little slower.

Cooking lets the right hand fly.
Combination of strength and delicate touch.
     Yet,
I still hate turning a tomato into a rose.
   Waste of good food.

Still,
one can take over for the other.

Left grows tired quicker,
 but still manages.

Right takes the toll.

Both manage to work together.

A tomato into a rose :)
I do wonder sometimes if I woke up with the same hands sometimes. Other times I just tell myself its growing pains, but arthritis runs in my family, and the cold is my kryptonite.
Remind me again why I choose to live in tropical scotland :)
I do sympathise Jon, my right foot is a permanent reminder of all the things I loved doing but no longer can. Climbing, hiking, soccer, moving it without my mind saying "you're a big boy, dont cry. I am jealous of youth and how I wasted it all on being young :)

I miss playing hackeysack. Out the window when I fractured a knee!
