QWERTY

QWERTY

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I guess I might be a little old school.
This was the keyboard I was taught.
Find the markers on the F and J keys,
and I can type in darkness.

Now,
we have a number pad on the side,
   functions running along the top,
and all of the mess running in between.

Shift key goes out,
and before I pick up a new keyboard,
I switched on how I type.

Still recovering from that one.

All of that besides,
 I like the markers.
I can close my eyes, and talk.
Even went back, and added a comma.

I feel sorry for the thumbs.
I think they feel left out.
