Barefoot in broken glass

Barefoot in broken glass

A Poem by Jon Roggie

It can be daunting.
Never going to see all of the shards.
Wrong step,
and you leave a trail of blood.
Some walk barefoot their entire life.
Left a mark here and there.
Walked,
  and learned.
Have a soul,
the shards are unable to cut.

Wow, some strong imagery here Jon. Shards of glass and walking barefoot has consequences.
