Art of a yard saleA Poem by Jon Roggie
Knowing the price.
You are trying to get rid of stuff you don't need. It is all clutter. A few coins would be nice, but let us be honest. You would probably pay for it all to be taken away. Anything expensive isn't out there anyway. So, you drag all of it out, and put a few random price stickers. This is where people doom the proceeding. They set the price to high. If you put a sticker on the item, add a question mark to the price. If someone asks, you simply say "How much you got?" "Sold!" Do you really want to drag all of the things, the ones you are trying to get rid of, back into storage? Whatever is left is being donated anyway!
