Not a good sign

Not a good sign

A Story by Jon Roggie

I need to check the back of my ankle.
There might have been a wound.
Hard to be immortal.

The reason i bring this up are the bruises.

Full physical in a few weeks,
 and they wanted some blood.

Elbow is looking a bit colorful.

Purple is fading,
 but you wonder.

This didn't happen before.

Wait for the results,

Medical scrutiny is unnerving.

Still,
at least none of the professionals have panicked!

I think the last line sums you up Jon, even in worry, a little humour never kills us. Well, everyone except that one guy who was flattened by a runaway clown float at the parade that time :)

Its the humour that keeps us sane in these testing times.

If I could arrange my cremation, I would have a bag of popcorn in the mix.

Ha, I would have something completely inappropriate playing, like another one bites the dust :)
