Singing to the dogs

Yes.

I have to go multi-species.

This is what happens.

I only want a spot to sleep.

Mr. Blue Sky didn't work.

The Clash didn't work.

All I know is the dog is going to walk over me.

It will be in the middle of the the night,

 and there is a chance I might have went to sleep.

You just transported me back to being about seven years old and rifling through my sisters vinyl collection. She ended up giving me her singles collection when she left home and top of the pile was my favourite, a blue vinyl edition of Mr blue sky, flip it over and the diary of Horace wimp interrupted the constant playing of one side. Happy days. Don't know about suggestions, but I've just found it in my library and it's blaring out all over again. :)
