Time to take a break

Time to take a break

A Story by Jon Roggie

I know.
 Complaining again.
I feel I should explain something.
I feel bad when I don't respond to the writes.

I can't sometimes.

The hands don't always work.

It is not that I don't want to comment.
I reach a point where I can't.

I can be very stubborn.

At this point,
 I am already having typos.
Hands are numb,
and it is spreading up my arms.

It might take me awhile to respond.

I thought I would get it out,
especially for those who write back.

My mom was a hairdresser for 50+ years in the era when every hairstyle meant rolling a head-full of rollers very tightly & mom's hands were wracked during her last couple decades. When I think about a lifetime of being a cook, with all those precise knife cuts, no wonder your hands fail you at times! I used my legs for many outdoor adventures & so they wore out, too. I always say to myself: I'm so glad my hands are still in great shape! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Sometimes your hands tire, sometimes our minds tire. We all have limits that can be tested a little too much sometimes Jon, but we can only hope for the times we are allotted some slight reprieve from our pains. I hope the break is short and to see your words again soon.
Take care.

When I can, I will still write. It might be short little riffs, but I will keep going!
