HiddenA Poem by Jon Roggie
Just below the skin,
waiting to be shown. Smile at the rising sun. Memories tear at the soul, wanting to be let free. Sip of grapefruit juice, sitting in the patio chair. Feelings caged, still waiting. Maybe a swim. Raging inside, unable to break through the simple facade. Looks like another beautiful day.
