Now, I am being stubborn

Now, I am being stubborn

A Poem by Jon Roggie

maybe if I start quietly
I think that option has left.
It might take some effort,
 but like the spice,
  the words will flow.
Yes,
I just put in a Dune reference.
I think Frank Herbert would appreciate it.
Does that count?
Citing sources can get touchy.
Where was I?
I try to do one simple thing.
I want you to see what I am seeing.
It escapes me.
I can describe drops of rain falling from a hummingbird's wings,
but how do share the feeling?
